Projects and Clients
We have a wide range of clients mainly from the public sector - archives, museums, libraries -  as well as smaller organisations such as local history societies, oral history projects and owners of private collections of recordings.

As well as numerous professional archive and conservation projects for the North West Sound Archive - such as 'archiving' nationally important Survey of English Dialects for the National Sound Archive UK -  I have also undertaken work for the UN War Crime Tribunal in The Hague, the National Coal Mining Museum for England, Coventry City Archives (local radio collections),  St Hilda's College Oxford (Oral History Collection), BBC Radio programmes, and increasingly oral history recording projects funded by the UK Heritage Lottery Fund.

Current Projects

Oral History is extremely important in the understanding and interpretation of historic buildings. We are pleased to have been asked to
'conserve'  and transfer to Gold CD the important and fascinating oral history material recorded by  the National Trust at Dinefwr Castle in Wales.

Current Projects
The 'Valley of Stone' is the name given to a Heritage Lottery funded pioneering oral history project bringing together quarrying communities in the Rossendale Valley of Northern England. We are transferring the many field recordings to Gold CD ready for permanent archive storage.
