Module One     Audio Transfer to Gold Standard 'Archival' optical disc (Audio Disc)

  • Audio transfer from modern flash-card memory based recorders, MP3, audio cassette tapes, Minidisc, and quarter inch reel to reel magnetic tape on to modern CD based format.
  • Handling and public access copies.
  • Ideal for Oral History Projects - please enquire if you have other material as we can often help.

Module Two    Audio restoration.
  • Often during transfer to Gold Standard 'Archival' Audio CDs it is possible to correct or restore sound quality to some degree. Eg reduction in tape hiss, pitch correction etc.

In this example from a 1960s reel to reel tape there are three passes 1st the raw recording, 2nd removal of crackle etc and 3rd final version with hum removed.
